In this case a Renault Megane 1.6 16v auto 2003 was adapted for use by a quadriplegic.
The modifications done to this car cost R35,000.00

The lever on the left has the following functions:
  • push for brake,
  • pull for accelerate,
  • tilt to activate for flickers left and right.
The starter button was moved to the right of the steering and the gear lever was made to operate via actuator.
